posted on by Andrew Osmond
On Monday December 9, MVM is releasing Arakawa under the Bridge × Bridge, the 13-part follow-up to the recently-released Arakawa Under the Bridge. Following on directly from the original, the sequel continues to follow the misadventures of Ko, his girlfriend Nino and the many other strange inhabitants of the bank of Tokyo's Arakawa river.
MVM will also release the second half of Shangri-La. The series adapts Eiichi Ikegami's novel about what happens to Tokyo when global warming turns the city into a tropical city in the middle of the 21st century. The staff includes director Makoto Bessho (Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, Armitage: Dual-Matrix), series script supervisor Hiroshi Ohnogi (Arjuna, Noein - to your other self), and character designer Range Murata (Blue Submarine No. 6, Last Exile).
Manga Entertainment will release the second half of its 'Definitive Edition' Blu-ray release of Blue Exorcist, including the English-language dub track that was omitted from previous releases.
Finally, Manga is releasing its fifteenth box-set of Naruto Shippūden, carrying episodes 180 to 192 of the series. (Bleach Series 12 Part 2 was originally scheduled for this date as well, but has since been moved back to December 23.)
