El Shaddai Director/Designer Acquires All IP Rights

El Shaddai game director and designer Sawaki Takeyasu announced in a press release issued on Friday that he has acquired all intellectual property rights for the game from Ignition Entertainment. Takeyasu's production company Crim will now control the action game's current PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases.
Takeyasu asked for the support and encouragement of fans as Crim aims to meet their expectations in the future. To celebrate the acquisition, an El Shaddai event will be held at the Asagaya/Loft A event hall in Tokyo on August 12 from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. JST.
El Shaddai first shipped in Japan in April 2011, followed by a North American release in August 2011 and a European release in September 2011. The El Shaddai Social Battle game for Android devices was released in April 2012.
