Mamoru Miyano's Uta-Pri Single 'Kanon' Ranks #3 for the Week (Updated)

According to Oricon's singles ranking chart for April 8-14, voice actor/singer Mamoru Miyano's single "Kanon" sold 28,000 copies in its first week to rank #3. This is Miyano's best showing on Oricon's charts; his last album, Fantasista, went on sale last December and placed fourth on the weekly album chart.
"Kanon" is the opening theme song for Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000%, Uta no Prince Sama's (Uta-Pri's) second season which began airing on April 3.

Update: Oricon reports that "Kanon's" precise total is 28,360 copies. "Kono Namida o Kimi ni Sasagu," the second single by the AKB48 spinoff voice actress group NO NAME and an ending theme song for the AKB0048 next stage anime, ranked #2 with 48,720 copies.
