Karneval Anime BD to Have English Subs in Japan

Japanese video distributor Bandai Visual will release the first Blu-ray Disc of the Karneval anime series with English subtitles. The first edition Blu-ray includes the first episode in 1080p, the clean ending sequence, an "Amaoto no Machi" drama CD, the first episode's audio comentary, a manga by original creator Touya Mikanagi, an ending illustration card, and liner notes. The disc comes packaged in a book-style case drawn by Mikanagi with a jacket cover art by character designer Toshie Kawamura.
The first volume goes on sale on May 28 for 5,250 yen (about US$56). The Karenval anime will premiere this spring.
