Phantasy Star Online 2 to Begin PS Vita Service on February 28

The PlayStation Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will begin service in Japan on February 28, 2013. The software download will be free, and the game will be free to play, although in-game items will have fees. There will also be a Phantasy Star Online 2 Special Package sold with exclusive item codes.
The PlayStation Vita version's closed beta test will begin in mid-January, and players can apply to be testers by random drawing in the PlayStation Store in early December. The Phantasy Star Online 2 es smartphone version for iOS/Android has been delayed until 2013 to raise product quality.
