Sketchtravel Kickstarter Reaches $12,000 Goal

The Sketchtravel Kickstarter has reached its original goal of $12,000 to bring the collaborative art project to the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. The 120-page sketchbook will be showcased in the museum from September 2012 to February 2013. A secondary goal of $25,000 has been set to bring the sketchbook to the Kyoto International Manga Museum in Kyoto, Japan. Artists involved in the project include Hayao Miyazaki, Taiyo Matsumoto, and Atsuko Fukushima.
