Film 4 Screenings This Week: Ponyo Wednesday Ocean Waves Thursday Paprika Friday

Anime films from Studio Ghibli and Satoshi Kon on Freeview channel.
The following anime films are being screened on the Freeview TV channel Film 4.
Wednesday August 1, 4.45 p.m. Ponyo - Hayao Miyazaki's whimsical Ghibli fantasy about an enchanted fish who encounters a boy and strives to become human.
Thursday August 2, 11 a.m. Ocean Waves - Studio Ghibli's feature-length TV film about the strange relationship between a high-school boy and his haughty female classmate on the island of Shikoku. Directed by Tomomi Mochizuki (Here Is Greenwood, House of Five Leaves). In Japanese with subtitles.
Friday August 3, 11 p.m. Paprika - Satoshi Kon's final completed film before his death, about a beautiful "dream detective" who can travel through people's minds. In Japanese with subtitles.
