Slayers Author Kanzaka Comments on Possibility of New Anime

Slayers author Hajime Kanzaka and artist Rui Araizumi appeared on a Tuesday live broadcast on the niconico video streaming service, and 49 minutes into the broadcast, Kanzaka was asked about rumors of a new Slayers anime.
In response, Kanzaka teased that he too had heard the rumors, but at the current time, he could not make any definitive statement, and that his editor was "throttling him while saying that there may or may not be something in the works." The live broadcast was streamed to promote Kadokawa's Book Walker e-book application.
