Namori Draws Yuruyuri Manga Spinoff Ōmuro-ke Online
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Manga creator Namori is drawing a Yuruyuri spinoff manga titled Ōmuro-ke. The story will center on the three Ōmuro sisters Nadeshiko, Sakurako, and Hanako from the original manga. A new chapter of the spinoff will appear on the Nico Nico Seiga image sharing website immediately after each episode of the Yuruyuri♪♪ anime premieres.
Yuruyuri debuted in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2008, and the eighth compiled volume will ship in Japan on July 24. ALC Publishing and JManga announced last month that they will publish the original manga. The series follows four fun-loving schoolgirls who take over the former room of a tea ceremony club for their own "Gorakubu" (amusement club).
Namori's Yuruyuri was adapted into a 12-episode television anime series last year, and its second season, Yuruyuri♪♪, will premiere on July 2. Crunchyroll will stream the second season in various countries outside of Japan as it airs, just as it did for the first season.
