Rico's Panda no Tapu Tapu Character Gets TV Anime Shorts

The Japanese production company Kachidoki Studio announced on Wednesday that it is producing the Panda no Tapu Tapu anime shorts inspired by the illustrator Rico's chubby panda character of the same name. The story will center on Panda no Tapu Tapu and his 12 animal friends who represent the Chinese zodiac.
The series will premiere on April 2, and episodes will air Monday through Friday during episodes of the Asanama Wide Ce Matin and Hapi Hapi Morning news programs. The television channel Yomirui TV and the television announcers Jirō Shinbō and Takeshi Mori are collaborating on the project. Rico began drawing Panda no Tapu Tapu and the other zodiac characters for New Year's cards seven years ago.
Kachidoki Studio's previous anime productions include the Ganbare!! Nattō-san anime and adaptations of the Shiawase Haitatsu Taneko story, Shokupan Mimi manga, Damens Walker essay manga.
