Sentai Filmworks Adds Listen To Me Girls, I'm Your Father! Anime
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Sentai Filmworks announced on Tuesday that it licensed the Listen to Me Girls, I'm Your Father! television anime series. The company will release the series digitally "through multiple outlets" and will then release it on subtitled DVD later this year. The media streaming service Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
Tomohiro Matsu's original "slapstick at-home romantic comedy" light novel series revolves around Yūta Segawa, a 19-year-old college freshman who suddenly discovers that he must be the father of three girls. Segawa had just gotten into college and settled into his first semester with new friends, but the plane that his older sister and her husband were riding went missing. As a result, Segawa has to watch over the middle school girl Sora, the fifth-grader Miu, and the preschooler Hina in his tiny 3-meter-by-4-meter (9-foot-by-12-foot) apartment.
Crunchyroll's website for the series had listed that the series would have 26 episodes, however, Sentai Filmworks' press release notes that the series will have 12 episodes. The press release does not mention if Sentai Filmworks will release the unaired 13th episode that will be included with the fifth Blu-ray Disc in Japan.
