268th chapter created controversy for similarities to Doraemon manga story
The 27th compiled book volume of Kôji Kumeta's Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga shipped in Japan this week, but without a chapter that appeared in its earlier magazine run. The 268th chapter ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine earlier this year, and it created controversy for similarities with a story that appeared in the 13th volume of Fujiko F. Fujio's Doraemon manga decades earlier. The Doraemon story imagined if money transactions went in reverse, so thieves made people accept money instead of taking money.
