Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, August 29-September 4

AKB48's AKB ga Ippai ~The Best Music Video~ collection rose from #17 to #7 in its 11th week. It sold 4,035 more copies for a total of 356,733. Momoiro Clover's "4.10 Nakano Sun Plaza Taikai Momokuro Haru no Ichidaiji ~Mabushisa no Naka ni Kimi ga Ita~ Live" concert DVD dropped from #14 to #26. It sold 1,905 more copies for a new total of 9,331.

Takashi Yamazaki's live-action film adaptation of the Space Battleship Yamato anime (pictured right) rose from #71 to #38 in its 11th week. It sold 1,524 copies for a new total of 116,215. The Sphere Live 2010 "sphere On Love, On Nippon Budōkan" concert DVD sold 1,323 copies to land at #45.

The Standard Edition for the live-action film adaptation of the Ashita no Joe fell from #56 to #71. It sold 800 copies for a new total of 7,112.
