Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear, 2008's Detective Conan film from Yasuichirō Yamamoto, re-aired as the #1 movie on Japanese television during the August 15-21 week. It ran on August 19 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 13.4 rating.
A special edition of the 2007 film One Piece: The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventure in Alabasta aired on August 20 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 12.9 rating.
The 19th and second-to-last live-action movie based on Juzo Yamasaki's Tsuri Baka Nisshi ("Diary of a Fishing Fool") manga aired on August 15 at 9:00 p.m and racked up a 11.4 rating.
