Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki 4-Panel Manga Gets TV Anime
posted on by Egan Loo
The October issue of Takeshobo's Manga Life MOMO magazine is announcing on Monday that a television anime adaptation of Rū Tatuki's four-panel manga Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki has been green-lit. The slice-of-life manga centers around a mysterious "spherical cat" named Poyo, its family, and the people in Poyo's everyday life.
Tatuki launched the manga in 2004, and the ninth compiled book volume shipped in February. A Nintendo 3DS game, in which the player raises and communicates with Poyo, will ship next February.
Takeshobo had previewed the cover of Manga Life MOMO's October issue, but deliberately obscured the anime announcement on the cover until recently.
