Madhouse's CG anime film will screen at July 1-3 event
The AM2 convention announced that it will screen Yona Yona Penguin, the children's CG anime film by Rintarō (Metropolis, X), during the July 1-3 weekend in Anaheim, California.
In the adventure story, a penguin-cosplaying girl named Coco gets sucked into a fantasy world, which is populated by goblins who believe that their saviour will be a penguin. This Madhouse studio production opened in Japan in December of 2009, and it held its U.S. premiere in New York City last year.
