SMASH Opens New Competition, Seeking Bootleg Inspectors

Sydney convention now accepting applications for bootleg volunteers and entries for fan fiction competition.
Sydney Manga and Anime Show (SMASH!) has put out a call for volunteers interested in being bootleg inspectors. Volunteers with the ability to spot bootleg DVDs, figurines and other merchandise are required for the convention to be held on July 16th. Those interested may apply on SMASH's recruitment website.
SMASH! has also announced that entries are now being accepted for the fan fiction competition. Authors may submit fanfics either inspired by the theme of 'disaster', or including the specified quote. The deadline is June 5th. Details and rules may be found on the website.
