The media distribution site Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it will simulcast the TV anime adaptation of Yui Haga's Lotte no Omocha! manga under the name Astarotte's Toy. The series will be available for premium members on Sundays at 9:00a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) starting on April 10 in the following regions: North America, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, Portugal, Middle East, Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia. Free users can access the episodes one week after their initial launch.
The story of Lotte no Omocha! revolves around Naoya, a man who is brought to a magical world to be a candidate for the harem of the princess, Astarotte. Yui Haga, who also illustrates the Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts light novel series, has been creating the manga for ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh since 2007. The magazine advertised the adaptation this past October.
The series was one of several revealed earlier this month by Crunchyroll's application for the iPhone and iPad under its "Manage Notifications" feature.
