Seattle's Sakura-Con Hosts Idol Group Berryz Kobo

Sakura-Con announced on Monday that it will host the first North American appearance of the female idol group Berryz Kobo during the April 22-24 convention in Seattle. The group performed theme songs for Futari wa Precure Max Heart 2: Yukizora no Tomodachi, Inazuma Eleven, and Patalliro Saiyuki!
The producer Tsunku's Hello! Project collective formed the group in 2004, and its members currently are Saki Shimizu, Momoko Tsugunaga, Chinami Tokunaga, Maasa Sudo, Miyabi Natsuyaki, Yurina Kumai, and Risako Sugaya. Altogether, the group has released 24 singles, seven albums and mini-albums, and one best-hits album. Among other songs by Berryz Kobo, the Inazuma Eleven ending theme songs "Seishun Bus Guide," "Ryuusei boy," "Otakebi boy WAO!," "Maji Bomber!!," and "Shining Power" all ranked on Oricon's weekly top-10 sales charts.
