Funimation Lets ShoDojo Community Site's Domain Expire

The North American anime distributor Funimation has not renewed its domain for the social community website ShoDojo. Funimation had announced the social community website at Anime Expo last July. Funimation's advertising promised that the anime video community would offer "1000s of episodes, 1000s of friends, waiting for you." The website had been in the beta stage since its announcement, and only let fans enter in their information to prepare for when the site would be fully launched.
Funimation revealed on its Twitter account that the project is still coming, but that it will no longer be called ShoDojo.
