Hajime Segawa Ends Ga-Rei Manga, Launches Tokyo ESP
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Hajime Segawa is ending The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei supernatural action series in the March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine on Tuesday. However, Segawa is publishing a three-page preview of a new manga called Tokyo ESP in the same issue. Ga-Rei's "afterschool underground spirit-hunting action" story was adapted into the Ga-Rei: Zero television anime series in 2008.
The Ga-Rei manga follows a high school boy named Kensuke as he works with a beast-summoning girl named Kagura for the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Office, a classified government agency in the Ministry of the Environment.
