Crunchyroll Confirms Streams of Chu-Bra!! Comedy Anime (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
The Crunchyroll media-distribution website has confirmed on Sunday that it has begun streaming ZEXCS and Starchild's Chu-Bra!! comedy television anime series. The series premiered on Japan's AT-X satellite/cable channel on Monday.
The Chu-Bra!! anime adapts of Yumi Nakata's manga of the same name. The publisher Futabasha describes the manga as "middle school girls x underwear = slightly H girls comedy." The story centers on Nayu, a middle school girl who shocks her schoolmates by wearing black lace panties. She likes this kind of underwear, and she tries to "spread the word on the merits of [these kinds of] underwear" via an underwear club with her schoolmates, who are worried about their bodies' development and which underwear to choose.
Crunchyroll's Chu-Bra!! video streams are available in United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Crunchyroll's subscribed Anime Members can see each episode, in standard 480-line progressive resolution, within one hour of its Japanese premiere. Other users can see the same episode in standard definition for free one week later.
AnimeOnDVD forum user Nagato-san noted that Crunchyroll's list of anime briefly revealed this title and one more unannounced title — Durarara!! — last week.

Update: Viewers are reporting the first episode of the anime is unviewable in the United Kingdom, but Crunchyroll tells ANN that it "should be available in the United Kingdom."
