Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ Promo Video Streamed

The BIGLOBE video-distribution site has begun streaming a promotional video for the Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ television anime series on Wednesday. (The streaming requires recent versions of Microsoft Windows and the Windows Media Player.) The anime adapts the Phantom of Inferno suspense visual novel software from the multimedia studio Nitroplus and writer Gen Urobuchi (Blassreiter). The anime staff at the Bee Train studio includes director Kōichi Mashimo (.Hack franchise, Blade of the Immortal, Noir) and series script supervisor Yousuke Kuroda (Gungrave, Mobile Suit Gundam 00).
The video had already been screened at last month's Comic Market event in Tokyo, and the anime will premiere in Japan this April. The original visual novel software was previously adapted in 2004 as a three-volume video anime series, Phantom - The Animation.
