The ICv2 retail news source reports that the American media company 4Kids Entertainment has unveiled its new CW4Kids lineup for Saturday mornings with three anime series and the live-action Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight series. Starting on January 3, the Sonic X anime series will move from the Fox Network to The CW's CW4Kids programming block at 8:00 a.m. 4Kids revealed in November that it will end its Saturday morning programming on the Fox Network at the end of this year. 4Kids plans to keep the Dinosaur King and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds anime series in the CW4Kids programming block at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., respectively.
The live-action Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight special-effects series will make its official premiere on January 3, after an early preview on December 13. This latest reincarnation of Shōtarō Ishinomori's Kamen Rider action manga is a remake of the 2002-2003 Kamen Rider Ryuki television series from Japan. Like the rest of the franchise, it centers on super-powered costumed heroes who protects humanity.
The new CW4Kids schedule does not include the Kirby: Right Back At Ya! anime series. Unless it is rescheduled, the last American airing of the series will be a repeat of the "Trick or Trek" episode this Saturday.
