Chrome Shelled Regios Promo Video Trailer Streamed (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
Google's YouTube video-sharing website has begun streaming a two-minute promotional video for the trailer of the Chrome Shelled Regios anime series on the Kadokawa anime channel. The actual trailer takes up the first 90 seconds of the video, while the remainder of the video consists of advertisements for the various tie-in products. The trailer includes the "Brave new truth" opening theme song by Daisy × Daisy, and the advertisements are set to the "Yasashii Uso" ending theme song by Chrome Shelled.
The anime is based on Shūsuke Amagi and Miyū's fantasy academy light novels that already inspired four different manga series. The story is set in the distant future when creatures contaminated by pollution have overtaken the land and forced humanity to live in isolated mobile cities called Regios. One such city named Czerni is a self-contained school in which freshman Lei-Fong Alseif (Nobuhiko Okamoto) has just enrolled. Lei-Fong reluctantly joins the 17th Martial Arts Studies Unit led by the third-year student Nina Antoc (Ayahi Takagaki) and embarks on a series of adventures. Feri Roth (Mai Nakahara) is a female second-year student in the same unit. The anime will premiere on January 10 in Japan.
