Code Geass: Over One Million Discs Served

The Japanese anime distributor Bandai Visual has announced that it has shipped over 1 million DVDs and Blu-ray Discs of the Code Geass military robot franchise as of this Friday. The third volume of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 sequel series arrived in stores on this day.
So far, nine volumes of the first series, two DVD Magazines, one special edition DVD, and three volumes of the R2 sequel have shipped in Japan. The previous volumes have often ranked as the #1 or #2 selling anime release in their first weeks of sales. Bandai Entertainment is releasing both the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime series and the R2 sequel in North America.
