New Blue Dragon Anime Gets Manga Tie-In

A manga tie-in to the recently started Blue Dragon: Tenkai no Shichi Ryū television anime series will start in Shueisha's V Jump magazine's July issue, which goes on sale on May 21. The announcement was made in the current issue which was released on April 21. The second Blue Dragon anime series premiered in Japan on April 5, and America's Cartoon Network premiered the English version of the first series on March 28. Viz Media already started releasing the Ral Ω Grad spinoff manga from artist Takeshi Obata (Death Note, Hikaru no Go), but neither Ami Shibata's Blue Dragon ST manga or this new manga have been announced for English-language release. TV Tokyo is hosting a promotional video for the second anime series.
