Kerokero Ace Magazine to Run Fourth Code Geass Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
The sixth volume (released on April 26) of Kadokawa Shoten's Kerokero Ace magazine has announced that a fourth Code Geass manga will serialize in its next volume, which goes on sale on May 26. Former dōjinshi artist Gun Zi (Gan Jii) will draw Bakumatsu Ibun-roku Code Geass (A Record of the Strange Tales of the Bakumatsu Era: Code Geass). The title is a reference to the historical literature that covered the end of the shoguns' rule over 19th-century Japan. The Kadokawa Group already publishes the three earlier Code Geass manga series: Majiko!'s Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion in Monthly Asuka magazine, Atsuro Yomino's Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack in Beans A, and Tomomasa Takuma's Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally in Comp Ace.
Bandai Entertainment just premiered the anime version on America's Adult Swim television network last weekend, and the first DVD volume will ship on August 5. The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 continuation premiered in Japan earlier this month.
