Sekirei Promotional Video Posted Online

The official Japanese website for the television anime adaptation of Sakurako Gokurakuin's Sekirei supernatural fighting manga has posted a two-minute, 28-second promotional movie in 500K or 1M bandwidth. (The streaming requires Windows Media Player 7.1 or higher for digital rights management.) Screenshots are also available on the site. The video was first shown at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 last week, and the anime itself was announced earlier in March. The series is planned for a 2008 premiere.
The story begins when Minato Sahashi, a hapless man who has failed at getting into college or getting a love life, suddenly meets a beautiful girl named Musubi. Minato learns he can become an Ashikabi, a master of the 108 artificial, human-like creatures in the Sekirei project that will fight each other to their dying breaths. Musubi happens to be a Sekirei herself.
