LiveJournal Admits Errors in Suspensions, Offers Fixes
posted on by Egan Loo
Follow-Up: Six Apart Chairman and CEO Barak Berkowitz has acknowledged mistakes made during this week's suspension of about 500 accounts on its LiveJournal community site. He has also said the site will "try to fix it" by reviewing journals, restoring some "wherever appropriate," and asking some users "to clarify their profiles to avoid the appearance that they are soliciting or encouraging illegal activities." The accounts included those on lolicon (romance involving female minors) and shotacon (romance involving male minors) fiction.
