Korean Government to Sponsor Animation Industry

The Yonhap News reports that the South Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism will spend the equivalent of US$75.9 million over the next five years to transform its animation industry into an actual primary producer of animation. Currently most animation work done in Korea is outsourcing done on foreign projects.
