Trainman Falls to Number 2, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation Falls to Number 7
Trainman, which premiered in the number 1 post at the Japanese box office last week, has been pushed down to number two by the premiere of Warring States Self-Defense Force 1549, while Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation - Heirs to the Stars- fell from 5th to 7th.
Warring States Self-Defense Force 1549 is the second of of three movies based on novels by Harutoshi Fukui to be released this year. Lorelei was released in March, and Aimless Aegis will be released later this year.
Gunota Headlines reports that Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation - Heirs to the Stars- has earned 553 million yen (US$5.06 million) to date, approximately 50% of the movie's predicted final box office take.
