February Convention to Feature Anime and Manga
Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of BookExpo America, announced yesterday that they will be holding the New York Comic-con in February, 2006.
The event, which will focus on Comics and related media, including anime and manga, will be open to industry professionals only on Friday, February 24th, then to the public for two days on Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th.
ADV Films is listed as an exhibitor in the press release.
Currently there are no other major pop-culture shows in New York City, however Anime Next is located just outside of New York.
