Daft Punk / Matsumoto project Confirmed

Leiji Matsumoto officially announced on Japanese radio program "Nichiyo Kissa-Shitsu" ("Sunday Tea Room") that he would be bringing a joint project he created with Daft Punk to the Cannes Film festival in France. Unfortunately we aren't able to find out any more details about what the project is.
