Anime & Game convention in Australia

AV CONnection to Anime and Video Games, "first event of its kind to be held in Australia"
We recently received word of the following Anime convention taking place in Adelaide Australia:
On the 20th and 21st of July this year the AV CONnection will occur in Adelaide Australia. Av CONnection is a convention dedicated to Anime (Japanese animation) and Video Games. The convention will be open to the general public and will be the first event of its kind to be held in Australia.
The convention, which will run over the weekend, will feature many events including:
- Screening of a variety of Anime (none rating higher than M15+) in a cinema environment
- Video game competitions and demonstrations
- Debates and Discussion Panels
- Role-playing
- Cosplay (character costume) competitions
- A Quiz Night
- An Art Competition
- and Stalls of local businesses interested in marketing their products.
