Korean theatrical results

Pokémon: The First Movie was released on December the 23rd in Korea and drew audiences totalling 81,500 people in its first weekend in Seoul. It ranked 3rd for the week at the boz office. As of January the 5th, 150,000 people had seen Pokémon in Seoul and 500 000 in all of Korea.
Jin-Rph on the other hand was not quite as successful and did not meet pre-release box office expectations.
Jin-Roh, opened on December the 9th and closed on the 29th. As of the 17th it had only drawn only 35,000 viewers in in Seoul, and an estimated 50,000 in all of Korea.
Nausicaä, released on the 30th, and drew audiences totalling 22,000 people in Seoul as of January 5th.
