Official Word on New Bubblegum Crisis DVDs

An official press release came in today form Multi Media 2000 about their new Bubblegum Crisis Megapack DVD release which was first mentioned August 25th.

Multimedia 2000 (www.m-2k.com) today announced the revamping of its phenomenally successful Bubblegum Crisis DVD line with the release of two new titles: Bubblegum Crisis Volume Four: Hurricane Live! and the Bubblegum Crisis MegaSeries.
Bubblegum Crisis Volume Four: Hurricane Live! is the DVD debut of this integral part of the Bubblegum Crisis series, collecting all thirteen music videos from the two original VHS tapes. Music is as much a part of Bubblegum Crisis as the action or animation, and in Hurricane Live! the hard-rocking sounds of Priss and the Replicants are accompanied by the hottest action sequences from the series, animation unavailable anywhere else, and rare live footage featuring the original voice actresses from the special ‘’Tinsel City Rhapsody'' concerts in Japan. The package features Knight Saber leader Sylia Stingray, meaning that each Knight Saber is now featured on her own individually sold, Amaray-sized Moviepak.
The Bubblegum Crisis Megaset arrives with a suggested retail price of of $69.95 and contains the new corrected volumes 1-3 as well as a fourth disc containing the 13 Hurricana Live music videos. This disc is also available separately for $19.95.
We've also been informed by Multimedia 2000 that they expected to make an announcement about a trade-up deal for owners of the previous discs sometime in the next 2 weeks.
