AnimEigo announces delays in BGC DVD's, KOR box

AnimEigo announced on their web page yesterday that the first half of the Kimagure Orange Road boxed set is in production, and the tapes are currently being duplicated and packaged. They expect the first box to ship the week of thanksgiving. "The duplicator has been warned that if they do anything stupid like wind the tapes into the cassettes backwards, we will burn them to the ground (Us, paranoid? Naah!)," said AnimEigo in their release.
However, because the project has taken longer than expected, the staff admits that it will prove impossible to get the second half out before the end of the year. (AnimEigo notes that those who chose the 4-installment payment plan won't get charged the third payment until the second half is ready to master.
This comes only a few days after Right Stuf announced that the Bubblegum Crisis DVD box has been delayed until November 23'rd.
