Evangelion Sword Exhibition Returns With Rebuild Materials

The "Evangelion and Japanese Swords Exhibit" will return to Tokyo on August 30 with an new art exhibit of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 production materials. The "Evangelion and Japanese Sword Exhibition + EVANGELION ARTWORK SELECTION" will open at the Takashimaya Shinjuku department store for just nine days.
This will be the first time the exhibition has headed to Tokyo in about 6 years. A total of 26 original blades produced by Japanese swordsmiths based on Hideaki Anno's film series will go on display along with 200 pieces of art and production materials.

The Evangelion and Japanese Swords Exhibit first opened in 2012 with a forged 3-meter long Spear of Longinus. The exhibition traveled across Japan before opening in Europe in 2014 and inspiring a series of dolls.
