In Case You're Still Thinking About Hellshake Yano's Animelo Summer Live Concert

How did Hellshake Yano's first live concert appearance go? The Pop Team Epic meme was scheduled to perform in front of a huge crowd at Animelo Summer Live on August 26 at the Saitama Super Arena. The catch is, of course, that Hellshake Yano's anime appearance was production duo AC-bu flipping sketchbook pages and narrating, kamishibai-style. How would this transfer to a live stage venue?
Just like its previous iteration, AC-bu's Shunsuke Itakura and Toru Adachi took to the stage in front of 80,000 people and performed with sketchbook in hand. Adachi played Hellshake Yano and Itakura narrated.
This time they had some enhanced lighting techniques to deploy.
Itakura and Adachi were the minds behind Pop Team Epic's "Bob Team Epic" segments. They also animated the equally unique "Galo Sengen" music video for the hip-hop group Policeman in 2011.
If you couldn't make it out to Animelo Summer Live this year, BS Fuji will air the multi-day concert series in December.
