Bandai's newest Figuarts Zero chouette figure is recreating the magic from one of Naoko Takeuchi's early color images. Usagi is shown in a fancy party dress and tiara, smiling in the arms of her beloved Mamoru.
The recreation measures 23.5 cm high (9.25in). The figure prototype was created by konoka, the same sculptor behind the Princess Serenity and Chibi-Usa with Helios Figuarts Zero chouette figures.
The figure will ship in November with an illustration card and base. The figure retails for 20,000 yen (US$188) and reservations are now open for official Sailor Moon fanclub members.
The Sailor Guardians are facing a new challenge at Universal Studios Japan in the form of a new 4D theater experience. The franchise recently opened its own dedicated merch store in Harajuku. The series' 25 anniversary also includes the announced Sailor Moon Crystal films directed by Chiaki Kon.
