Jump into the Zaku Cockpit for Gundam the Origin VR Experience

For a brief three minutes, visitors at the Tokyo Shinjuku Piccadilly theater can man the the Zaku II on the battlefield. The "Gundam: The Origin: Char Shutsugeki" virtual reality experience will open on weekdays starting on September 19 and run until September 29.

Prospective Gundam pilots will have to make a reservation when slots open on September 2 and have a movie tickets for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin V: Clash at Loum from Shinjuku Piccadilly theater. The fifth episode of the Gundam: The Origin anime opens in Japan on September 2.

The VR booth will display production artwork from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin V: Clash at Loum.

Bandai Namco's virtual reality arcade in Shinjuku includes the “Daiba Assault” Gundam VR.
