Fly on Goku's Nimbus at J-World Tokyo Theme Park
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Namco's J-World Tokyo indoor theme park is introducing a roller coaster with no track, carts, or seat belts. The new ride is a virtual coaster namely, a 3D motion simulator where riders are taken on Goku's nimbus cloud through the world of Dragon Ball Z. 3D goggles are worn while riders view a large screen. Wind, speed, sudden drops and elevations are all simulated like a real roller coaster.
The coaster will available for rides starting on July 15. The theme park will also serve a nimbus custard whip dessert to enjoy after visitors are done touring the city or they can check out its other Dragon Ball Z attractions, like the Kamehameha simulator or the Capsule Corporation photo spot. The theme park is also hosting a Reborn! campaign to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary.
