Kingdom Hearts Pays Homage to Final Fantasy VII

Square Enix spent Final Fantasy VII's 20th anniversary (and the franchise's 30th anniversary) teasing the long awaited FFVII remake with new visuals. Over at the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account, the staff shared an homage image to Cloud Strife standing in front of Shinra headquarters.

Tuesday marked the 20th anniversary since Square released the original Final Fantasy VII role-playing game. Tetsuya Nomura is returning to the PlayStation 4 remake game as its director after serving as the character designer for the original game, and Kazushige Nojima is also returning to write the scenario.
Kingdom Hearts III is slated for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
