Licensed product company Imperial Enterprises is accepting pre-orders for a limited edition watch commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Saint Seiya series.
The watch shows the silhouette of Sagittarius glistening on the face and 12 other Zodiac-inspired warriors engraved in the band links. Each is sold in a commemorative box with a picture of the palace on the front. Only 3,000 of the watches will be made and their respective production number is stamped on the backside of the watch face. Watch number 0000 will be presented to Saint Seiya creator Masami Kurumada.
Each watch costs 39,800 yen (US$350) not including tax and shipping. This is the second watch design by Imperial Enterprises, the company released another Saint Seiya gold watch in 2014.
The Saint Seiya 30th anniversary this year has included an exhibition featuring life-size statues of the Gold Saints.
