Yo-Kai Watch Crowds The Kitchen at McDonald's in Japan
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
If there's one place you don't want to be caught with ghosts, it's in a crowded kitchen. Yo-kai Watch characters Jibanyan, Komajiro and Komasan filled in for McDonald's employees in Japan as part of a current collaboration campaign. The three giant, ghostly cats "supervised" burger flipping and fry cooking for a special DVD that comes as part of the nationwide campaign.
Starting on November 3, McDonald's restaurants in Japan will sell a Yo-kai Watch-themed set that comes with a calendar featuring original illustrations, English phrases, and quizzes, a 40-minute DVD showing the yokai's exploits as McDonald's employees and two anime episodes, and stickers to use with the calendar. A glitter sticker with a QR code that can be used with the Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi, Tempura, or Sukiyaki games will also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Yo-kai Watch just wrapped a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward earlier this month. The monsters will continue to haunt Universal Studios Japan in Osaka through January.
