Takara Tomy, the makers of the interactive Clow Card set want to give Cardcaptor Sakura fans the full experience. The company is now accepting pre-orders for an official Cardcaptor Sakura costume modeled after her outfit from the series' first opening animation.
The costume, which includes the blouse and dress as a single piece, along with Sakura's hat, gloves, and wings costs 16,200 yen (US$161). It also comes with The Jump Clow Card. Takara Tomy will release the costume on October 1, just in time for Halloween and pairs perfectly with the the interactive Clow Card set.
The set of 52 cards include RFID chips, so they interact with a brand-new Clow Card Book, a Sealing Wand (that lights up), Sealed Key, and even a talking Kero-chan plush. Different cards come with different items. Cards designated with a pink star (see linked image) come with the Sealing Wand, the red star cards come with the book, and the yellow star items come with Kero-chan.
The Sealing Wand costs 8,500 yen (US$75.50), the Clow Card Book retails for 6,000 yen (US$53) and the talking Kero-chan plush costs 5,000 yen (US$44.50).
The goods are part of the manga and anime series' 20th anniversary. The creative team CLAMP published a new short story manga and a new anime project is in the works.
