Gundam 00 Voice Actress Ayumi Tsunematsu Announces Pregnancy

Voice actress Ayumi Tsunematsu (Princess Marina in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Rurumu in Magi: Adventure of Sinbad, Maiya in Fate/Zero) announced on her blog on Friday that she is pregnant with a baby boy.

Since my debut, I've played various mother roles (particularly in anime), and the time has finally come to be a mother myself. I am currently stable and passing my days calmly.

This means that I will take a break for a while from the Ayakashikai and the Dog & Cat Friendship Fest that I participate in each year, along with readings, stage shows, and concerts.

I will continue working as long as I can, and I'd like to come back soon after the birth. That being said, I don't know what will happen until the birth (I'm due in November), so I will take my and my baby's condition into consideration.

In a recent check-up, I learned that my baby will be a boy. Everyday he kicks my belly energetically. Each time I feel his cute thrumming, I feel inexpressibly happy. (I'm worried about when they'll get violent!!)

I'd like to continue my preparations for the expected day without overdoing it, but enjoying myself as before.

Mothers Tsunematsu has played during her career include Miyoko's in HaruChika - Haruta & Chika, Tomori's in Charlotte, LiSA's in Terror in Resonance, and Rinko's in Natsu-iro Kiseki.
