To promote the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, The Pokémon Company decided to take over four of the giant screens at Shibuya Crossing, the busiest intersection in Japan, and one of the busiest in the world.
The new titles will remake the 2003 Game Boy Advance games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. The games shipped on November 28 in Europe and November 21 in Japan, North America, and Australia. An anime short based on the games aired in Japan on November 16.
