Lotteria's New Triple Tsukemen Burger Is 3X the Carbs, 3X the Delicious
posted on by Bamboo Dong
Lotteria has been experimenting with big food lately, with its Attack on Titan burger and fries, but the fast food chain might have outdone itself with this triple-stacked tsukemen burger.

For those unfamiliar with tsukemen, the noodles are served separately from the broth, and are dipped prior to eating. The broth itself tends to be thicker and stronger than ramen broth as well, resulting in an eating experience that's worth seeking out.
Lotteria's "Taishoken Original Tsukemen Burger," a collaboration with Tokyo's famous Taishoken ramen shop, is eaten in a similar fashion. The burger, available with a single, double, or triple noodle patty, is dipped into a side of tsukemen broth, complete with toppings. There's no meat in the burger itself, but there should be plenty of meaty goodness in the soup.

The burgers are ¥650 for a single patty, ¥700 for double, and ¥750 for triple, and will be offered until mid-June.

While Lotteria has offered ramen patty burgers before, this is the first time they're doing a tsukemen version. The ramen patty trend hasn't quite caught on in the US yet, but plenty of places are now offering a variation of Keizo Shimamoto's ramen bun burger. If you're looking to recreate the experience in your own kitchen, though, there are plenty of recipes online for ramen buns and even ramen-crust pizza.
